Location

Venao Beach has three miles of beach, Playa Venao is one of the largest protected bays in the area west of the coast of Azuero. The center of the beach has strong waves, while in the east and west is calm like a lake. The beach is surrounded by steep hills and many streams.

Nearby beaches of Playa Venao Bay, consists of three separate beaches. Venao Beach, three miles of gray sand beaches, known for its great surfing, Los Achotines, pristine white sand of a sheltered bay to the west of Playa Venao and El Madroño, a secluded white sand beach east of Playa Venao. The three beaches are surrounded by hills that offer breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean.

Achotines Beach is a coral reef bay east of Playa Venao. It has white sand and surrounded by dry tropical forest that is home to many species of animals.

Madroño Beach is a secluded hideaway beach west of Venao Beach. It has white sand and spectacular views from the hills, surrounded by a nature reserve.

Villa Marina Resort

Located beachfront on two miles of private property, Villa Marina is a quiet haven and one of the most beautiful and exotic scenery in the Pacific Ocean. The 65 hectares (160 acres) of the hotel are natural land and gardens are host to many species of plants and animals originally from the region.

Villa Marina has two large dining rooms, a breakfast table in one of the porches, and a dining table at the Panamanian style ranch. The main dining room is located inside the house and offers a magnificent view of sea and gardens. The fully equipped kitchen has a bread oven, an Argentinean grill and a stone oven.

The house is surrounded by comfortable porches with hammocks, chairs, rocking chairs and beautiful views of the sea.

Rancho Panama

Located in a grove of trees and coconut palms, a thatched roof of Panama “Rancho” lets you rest in a hammock sprinkled with the fresh breeze of the Pacific Ocean. This is the ideal place to relax.

Landscape and Gardens

The Hotel Villa Marina is a paradise for nature lovers. It is surrounded by 3 hectares (7.4 acres) of gardens with local timber trees, fruit plants, orchids and other exotic local species. Needless to say, the biggest attraction is the sea, with nearly 3 miles of secluded beach and its own island, Villa Marina offers guests their own exclusive beach just a few steps outside the front door.

You can take a walk on the 3.5 km of the beach, or take a ride up the hill to the plantation of native species managed by the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute and Yale University. At dusk just curl up into a state of meditation while watching the sky change colors from blue to pink to orange to red while the sun goes down in the eastern part of the bay over the green mountains.

No refunds for cancellations received within seven days before arrival. However, the hotel will do its best to rebook the reservation on other dates.
