The Presidency of the Republic of Panama becomes the recording scenario for the new tourism campaign.
“Panama Surprises,” the new campaign to promote Panama from the Tourism Authority of Panama (ATP), includes as one of its scenarios the Presidency of the Republic. The 4 times world boxing champion Roberto “Mano de Piedra” Duran, the image of this campaign, in the company of President Ricardo Martinelli, showed the Palace of the Herons as one of these attractions.
This international campaign will include 52 infomercials promoting and showing various areas of tourist attraction in Panama. Some commercials have already been filmed and are scheduled to begin airing starting in November, projecting to an audience of approximately 50 million people.
The new spots, which promote Panama as a major destination for tourists, will be broadcast in countries like USA, Canada, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and in Panama nationwide.
This initiative is part of a commitment that ATP made of an intense promotion undertaken by the entity to publicize the benefits of Panama, said Salo Shamah, General Manager of the Panamanian Tourism Authority.
