As the sixteenth property of the Hard Rock Hotel internationally and the first in Latin America, Hard Rock International announced on May 26th 2011 that the Hard Rock Hotel Panama Megapolis will open from December 2011.
The Hard Rock Hotel Panama Megapolis will be located in Panama City just a short distance from the Panama Canal, one of the seven wonders of the modern world, offering panoramic views of Panama City and the Bay of Panama.

The opening of the Hard Rock Hotel Panama Megapolis will allow guests to join a highly respected international network of hotels, casinos and cafes of the franchise – giving them more access than ever before. The Hard Rock Hotel Panama Megapolis will begin a new season of local and global events like the three-day music festival “Hard Rock Calling’ in London.
The Hard Rock Hotel Panama Megapolis will have 1499 rooms, 796 of which include suites, and is connected to the mall Multicenter, It will include the famous Rock Star Suites, which are the definitive Hard Rock experience.
