Having worked for this fine Dutch airline for over 11 years, Mrs. Swartz knows what good service ‘looks like’ and is uniquely qualified to manage a hospitality business.

Rooms
The Balboa Inn offers nine (9) nicely appointed rooms. All rooms have a private bathroom, lots of natural light, good ventilation, a very quiet split air conditioning, ceiling fans, Internet access, (wireless), room safes and beds with comfortable mattresses. SkyTV satellite service is also included and so is a DVD player.
Rates include all applicable taxes (10% tourism tax), a full American breakfast including lots of fresh fruits, yoghurt, granola, freshly brewed coffee and eggs the way you like them.
All private bathrooms have a great showers with excellent water pressure and convenient European faucets (with temperature safety control so you or your kids won’t get burned by hot water), kept spotless by the hotel’s dedicated staff.
Rates depend on the length of stay, number of people per room and date of booking. The Balboa Inn offers double, triple and quadruple rooms. Rates go down depending on the amount of nights you stay at the Balboa Inn, either 2 to 6 nights or more than 7 nights.
Please remember this is a relatively small inn. The inn has a strict cancellation policy. Your first night (of each room) will be charged to your credit card to make the reservation. Cancellations less than 15 days before the scheduled arrival date will result in the full charge of your stay. Advanced booking rates are to be paid in full. Of course, if you have to cancel a reservation and the inn can (partly) re-book the room, they will refund the corresponding portion.
Rooms are strictly non-smoking and so is the rest of the Balboa Inn except for a small designated area outside the building. Booking a room means you agree the inn’s policy.
