It’s time to pack up your board!

Surfing in Panama – Copa Airlines offers a special promotion for surfers who travel to Panama.

As part of their baggage at no additional cost, provided they remain within the general conditions of luggage allowed on the route, passengers from Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Manaus, San Jose, Los Angeles, Orlando, Washington, Miami, New York (JFK) and San Juan, may carry one (1) bag with up to two (2) free surfboards.

This promotion is valid until 15 November 2009 and can be purchased through our Copa’s Call Center or sales office.

Take into account the following considerations when planning your trip and enjoying the waves in Panama:

• In addition to the bag of surfboards, the passenger may register only one (1) additional piece of baggage not exceeding the allowable regular franchise route.
• The promotion only allows a maximum of bags per flight depending on aircraft type. You can check the type of aircraft used for your trip calling Copa’s call center or sales office.
• Maximum allowable bags per aircraft according to the type of equipment:

Boeing 737-800 – Allows a maximum of 6 bags
Boeing 737 – 700 – Allows a maximum of 5 bags
Embraer 190 – Allows a maximum of 3 bags
