The town of Portobelo offers historical attractions such the Fort of San Lorenzo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Land Adventure Tours such as canopy lines, horseback riding, river tubing, and visiting the Indigenous Embera Tribe or Water Adventure Tours such as snorkeling, scuba diving, and boat tours to the mangroves and beaches nearby, are just a few of the things this town has to offer.
Sunset Cabins is a certified PADI and SSI Dive Center, besides offering diving tours to several locations, they also offer diving certifications. Always wanted to learn how to dive? Let them teach you while vacationing in Panama, which offers less expensive certifications than many other countries.
Restaurant: typical Panamanian Caribbean food is served in Sunset Cabins prepared by local chefs. The cousin includes fish, octopus, shrimp, lobster, rice with coconut, patacones (plantains), salads, etc. We also have chicken and meat for those who are not sea food lovers. Let us know your eating preferences when you book your reservation and we can accommodate.
