Spend a day in a secluded beach in Boca Chica in the Gulf of Chiriqui in the Chiriqui Province of Panama. The town is a small port village about one hour drive from David. The famous Cala Mia Eco Boutique Hotel in Boca Chica, is located here as well, which is one of the most unique tropical getaways that Panama has to offer.
From Boca Chica we paddle out into the Gulf of Chiriqui where we get to choose in which uninhabited island we want to be ours for the day. Paddling distances and times can change according to sea conditions, as well as the group’s ability. This trip can accommodate all levels of paddlers, so please tell us what is your experience.
If you rather use a motorboat for part of the trip this can be arranged as well, for an additional fee.
If you think a day on an uninhabited island is not enough, we agree with you and offer an overnight trip, which included all camping equipment and gear.
Skill Level: Beginners
Fitness: For sea kayaking in Panama you should be in good physical conditions, since this trip includes 4 hours of moderate paddling.
What to bring:
- Clothes to swim and a change of clothes
- Sun block
- Shoes to explore the island
- Panamanian ID or Passport or copy

Day trip price: 4 person minimum, 6 person maximum
Leaves Boquete at 7:00 am, hotel pickup or meet in Los Establos on Main Street Boquete, return at 6:00 pm.
Overnight: 4 person minimum, 6 person maximum . Minimum age: 12 years old
