Scuba Diving Classes in Panama: Discover Scuba, Open Water, Advanced, Rescue and Dive Master

Discover Scuba

An introductory course for people who have never dived, but do not want to take the full course certification. This short introduction to diving only takes an hour of training both on and off the water, plus a complete immersion dive (45 minutes to 1 hour).

Includes transportation from Panama to the Portobelo dive center in the province of Colon in Panama, scuba equipment, dive master, boat trip and lunch.

Basic or Open Water

Duration: Monday to Sunday.

Monday to Friday from 6-10 pm at the offices in Panama and Saturday and Sunday open water dives in Portobelo in Colon.

Includes:

Complete theoretical and practical course (four dives)
Certification from an international accredited association: PADI and SSI
Full scuba equipment
Air required for the course
Log book and dive manual
Boat trips for diving

Note: snorkeling equipment is not included in the course, we recommend that you buy yours. You can also rent it for an additional fee of $ 20 for the entire course.

Stay at Sunset Cabins is not included. You have the choice of cabins or a shared room for $ 9 per person. Breakfast, lunch and dinner a la carte. Transportation to Scuba Panama in Portobelo can be provided at an additional cost.

Advanced

Want to participate in night diving or deep diving? The Advanced diving course allows you to increase your knowledge.

Duration: Weekend

On Friday in Panama City you will see a video of the advanced course, plus the theory from an instructor.

Requirements:

15 years or older
Open Water Dive Certification (basic)
Basic equipment (mask, flippers and snorkel)

You can use your own equipment or you can rent two tanks, three fills, a complete regulator (including octopus / combo / compass), a Buoyancy Compensator vest (BCD) and a weight belt.

To take this course it is necessary to buy a lantern, a table to write under water and two chemical lights.
