Activities…

Too long to list but snorkeling is the favorite of everyone and everyone’s favorites is swimming with turtles…and yes we took all the pictures and so can you when you come. Watching dolphins, maybe even a whale or a cachalot will come by, once again you have to be ready with the camera or live with it around your neck all the time. It’s just paradise everywhere, for the adults and the children. We also feature the new and amazing clear kayak where you can snorkel without getting wet!!

Day tours:

The day tour is from 10am to 4:30pm. We can take up to 12 people (maximum) for the day. We start from Contadora Island sailing north to Bartolome or Pacheca. On the way troll the fishing line. There is a nice snorkel and beautiful beaches where we stop. We have mask and tube of different sizes for you and for children. At 12h we have lunch on the boat. The menu will be: Fresh homemade Taboule salad or composed salad with fish if we catch some and fresh fruit or cake. We have water, soft drinks and we offer beer and wine with meals. After lunch, we will sail south to Chapera or Mogo Mogo, where they shot the TV series Survivor. Another jump in the water, snorkel and/or walk on the beach. On the way back, we offer snacks. We get back to Contadora around 16h30.

Multi day charters:

Multi day charters are 1 day (24h) and up. We have 2 double cabins (2 people per cabin). Each cabin has its own bath with sink, shower and toilet. In the case of children traveling with you for example, we may accept a 5th and 6th guest but he (she) or they will have to sleep in the salon.

We have occasionally arranged decrease in day rates for longer stay over 7 days but it depends on scheduled following charters so please check with us once you are on board.

Exclusive use of the boat: Sometimes, exclusive use of boat is requested, in the case of less than 4 persons. We had couples honeymooners and we understand.

Formula Week End: 2 days + 1 night, from 10h00 on the 1rst day to 16h30 on the last day.

Price includes:

•    Accommodation in a double cabin with private bath
•    Breakfast, lunch and diner
•    Drinks: water, soft drinks with beer and wine with meals
•    Diesel and gasoline, dinghy and outboard
•    Kayak (Just one the many fun activities you can do during our charters, this clear kayak allows you to snorkel just like being in a giant mask! It’s awesome!)
•    And there is fishing and snorkeling equipment of different sizes all on board!
•    Bed sheet and towel for each guest, but we recommend you bring your own bath towel if you can
•    The skipper (will be happy to give basics in navigation and catamaran sailing techniques) and the stewardess (will prepare fresh and homemade food for you)

About the Catamaran:

“REBELLE” is a Lagoon 440 (44 feet) Catamaran built by Beneteau in France. It is a very comfortable catamaran, with all the amenities of a modern boat, from air conditioning in all rooms to a washer drier, TV and satellite e-mail. She is equipped with a new hybrid propulsion system, making her more ecologic and incredibly silent. She is barely 4 years old therefore virtually new.

We offer various types of day cruises throughout the places we go to, full day, half day, 2 days and up depending where we are and we take reservations for week charters as we move along to new places and adventures. Available on board is snorkeling, fishing, diving, kayaking (with a new and wild clear kayak), wake boarding or simply just explorations with sun bathing in the forward nets and cockpit. We can take up to 14 people on the day and up to 6 people for week charters.

Hybrid system overall:

If you are on the “eco” side, this is your kind of boat, it pollutes less so you enjoy more. It certainly smells better than 2 diesel engines. In short, there are 2 battery pack of 72V (6 x 12V in serial) furnishing power to 2 x 10kW electric motors, each controlled by their own variator. The battery packs are recharged automatically by a 21.5kW generator or regeneration undersail above 5 knots.

Accommodations:

Interior / Cabins

This Lagoon 440 is an owner version, meaning there are 2 full double cabin on the port side, each with their own bath, toilet and shower. The starboard side is entirely dedicated to a full suite, double bed, desk, sofa and private bath.

Salon / Kitchen:

There is a full kitchen, cooking is pleasant and most everything is allowed, the catamaran has a huge gas barbecue outside by the rear cockpit area big enough to do a few lobsters at a time or a full size fish. You can eat outside or inside, the tables can be switched in and out, depending of the weather.

Deck:

The flybridge for navigation separate the living area from the sailing controls and therefore makes this sailboat very clean and safe for the living areas and guests. All the mess of lines and halyards are upstairs. Rear cockpit area with seating big enough for 10 people. Front cockpit area with seating for 5, netting areas with mattresses and hammock. Safe all around deck area with netting available if you have children.
