Pedasi, a jewel in the Pacific

Pedasi, four hours from Panama City, is a small town in the Azuero Peninsula which is on track to become the next popular destination for tourists.

Pedasi, with a population of about 2,000 people, has always been a small fishing village. In recent years, investors discovered the beautiful beaches and tranquil lifestyle, and development began. A 20 minute boat ride is Isla Iguana, a tropical dry forest is a wildlife refuge. Iguana Island is surrounded by coral reefs and waters visited by whales that stop and give their first lessons in  life to their young there.
