Contadora Island is part of the Archipelago Las Perlas which consists of 130 barren islands and 90 islands, located to the south of Panama City in the Pacific Ocean.
In the midst of the archipelago, you will find a hidden paradise – Contadora Island which name has a historical significance that originated with the fishermen, La Contadora, the place where they counted the pearls to be sold.
The visitor can get to the island from Panama City:
• By air in a commercial or charter flight which takes approximately 20 minutes
• By boat which takes approximately 1½ hour
The island covers a surface of 1.3km and it is located to the north of the Pearl Islands Archipelago. Its residents come from different countries and it’s made up mostly of residential villas. Time is enjoyed pleasantly and with serenity on its beautiful non-crowded beaches of smooth white sand and warm crystal-clear waters. Las Suecas beach offers privacy and peace to those who enjoy nudism, and the other beaches captivate the visitors with their natural spell.
Little by little Contadora Island allows the visitor to discover its breathtaking beaches and the enchantment of its exuberant vegetation, sanctuary of iguanas, deers, birds and butterflies; the abundance of fish makes the archipelago a fishing paradise.
The entire island can be explored by car, scooter, and car or walking. The island offers other types of activities and tours:

Los Caracoles is a cozy beach rental house surrounded by a beautiful and spacious garden which has a charming island atmosphere. It is a two-story house; the first floor it’s approximately 820 square feet and is available for rent. The hosts live on the second floor and are always attentive to make their guests stay a pleasant and memorable experience.
The house is at walking-distance from Cacique Beach, the second largest of the island.
The house offers three comfortable double bedrooms (queen size beds) each with private bathrooms, air-condition and ceiling fans. It also features a relaxing TV room with a half bathroom, satellite, air-condition and sound-system.
The social areas may be enjoyed under a covered terrace which includes hammocks, bar, living and dining area for six (6) persons.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a large two-door refrigerator, a gas-stove with oven, microwave and all the necessary utensils (pots and pans, china-ware, silverware and crystal-ware).
Los Caracoles is available for rent according to the length of stay (daily, weekly, monthly or yearly) required by the guests, and the rates vary depending on the number of guests.
