Iguana Island is a wildlife refuge located in the Azuero Peninsula. It is a wildlife reserve that extends 58 hectares in front of the province of Los Santos in Panama.
Iguana Island is known for its amazing diving areas. During the months of April and September, the turtles use the island as a place to store their eggs and during the months of June and November you can see humpback whales and yubatas since they are migrating from cold water to warm water.
