Near the Panama City is a beautiful mountain village of “El Valle” (The Valley in English), also known as the Crater Valley, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Just two hours by car from Panama City, El Valle is in the second largest (extinct) volcanic crater in the world- a five-kilometer crater that exploded 5 million years ago. The resulting scenario is a unique valley surrounded by steep mountain peaks of the mountains, filled with flowers and a green forest.
