Continental Airlines will increase flight frequency to Panama

Four months to the end of the year, and Continental Airlines has made the decision to increase the number of daily flights to and from Panama during the holiday season.

Robert Saint John, regional director of Continental Airlines, said the airline, in addition to two existing daily flights from the city of Houston, will have a third daily flight during the four days of high demand in December, January and February.

Also added a daily flight on the route New York-Panama during these months. Continental Airlines, which in the coming months will change its trading name to United, reported revenue in the second quarter for $3 thousand 700 millions and net income of $ 233 million.

“We hope to continue in positive numbers and offer new routes now in union with United Airlines,” said Saint John.

Although the Panamanian airline Copa Airlines does not belong to any airline alliance, customers of the company can reap the benefits offered by the Star Alliance that Continental Airlines belongs to since 2009, said the executive.
