Grande Coffee Adventure

In recent years, Panamanian Coffee, specifically from the highlands of Chiriqui has received worldwide recognition and awards (several consecutive years number one) for being one of the best in the world.

We are proud to present the first Coffee Tasting Tour in Panama. Allow us to take you in this tour to three different private coffee estates. As part of the tour you will get to explore the lush cloud forest in Boquete’s mountainside.

This tour is a real treat for anyone who loves coffee, since you will have the opportunity to purchase this hard to find coffee, which can’t even be obtain in the rest of the country since it is all exported to boutique dealers.

You will learn how to identify the regions of the different coffee; their aroma and body; how to detect flavors that you are tasting, such as: chocolate, citrus, jasmine, or fruit.

This tour is 3.5 to 4 hours long.

Tips:

Boquete coffee makes a wonderful, unique and inexpensive present that will surely be appreciated back home.

You must book your tour weekdays or Saturday morning, since most estates close Saturday afternoon and Sunday.

If you are coming to Boquete for several days, and would like to taste coffee produced from different micro-climates, elevations, processing methods, and regions, you can book more than one day.

El Poco (the little) Coffee Adventure

For a shorter coffee tour, this is your ideal option. This tour takes you to one high elevation coffee plantation, where you will see the beneficio (processing mill) and sample different types of micro-roasted coffee.

We will teach you how to identify the regions of the different coffee; their aroma and body; how to detect flavors that you are tasting, such as: chocolate, citrus, jasmine, or fruit.

• Minimum of 2 people

Hotel pick up at 8:00 am, 10:00 am or 2:00 pm
