Food and Drink: The kitchen in your villa has everything you need to cook and eat, with seating and table service for four.   Casa Selva del Mar provides continental breakfast fixings in your villa, including coffee, tea, milk, juice, delicious homemade muffins or banana bread, fresh seasonal fruit, granola, bread, jam and butter.

Casa Selva del Mar will take you to the local gourmet grocery on arrival, so you can stock up on food, beer, and wine for your stay for lunches, snacks, and dinner on your own.   They also offer family style dinners in the owner’s home at reasonable rates, by appointment. They love to eat and love to cook, and you’ll delight in the barbecued marinated chicken and steaks, fish and seafood (local fisherman sometimes come by with fresh lobster for sale), pork chops,  and other delicious homemade meals, always including something chocolate for dessert.  Or, they can take you by boat to one of many restaurants on a neighboring island.

Activities: What can you do to occupy your time at Casa Selva del Mar?  You can swim in the sparkling sea, float around on one of the rafts, or go snorkeling (the hotel supplies the snorkel and fins) at the coral reef right in front of your villa.

If you’re feeling adventurous, you can explore the island coastline in one of the four easy-to-use kayaks.  Or you can go for a jungle walk on the paths in the 18 acres of pristine rain forest, where you might be lucky enough to see a sloth or an anteater.   From the veranda of your villa, you will see parrots, toucans and many varieties of beautiful birds.  Don’t forget your binoculars!
