Bristol Hotel Panama City is expanding its capacity

Located in the financial area of the capital, the Bristol Hotel Panama offers a new tourist offer that includes 40 luxury apartments, under the innovative concept of Premium condo-hotel.

The Bristol Hotel Panama unveiled the innovative Premium condo-hotel concept with its construction project The Residences at Bristol Panama, consisting of 40 luxury apartments.

The announcement was made by the President of Tourism Development Buenaventura, Fernando Duque, who was accompanied by Green Blue Group President, Juan Carlos Fabrega and the project leader, Jose Ramon Icaza.

The new tower of the Bristol Hotel Panama is expected to open in October 2011, located in the heart of the financial district of Panama City, with 25 apartments and 62 hotel rooms suites, reserving the upper floors to house 40 apartments of the condo hotel.

Duque said the investment in the new expansion is of U.S. $ 30 million.

The Residences at Bristol Panama, offers guests and owners personalized service, which includes among other things: valet parking, concierge, room service, housekeeping and security 24 hours, said the hotelier.

The executives stressed that recognition of the Bristol Hotel Panama internationally every year, makes it a safe investment. The hotel is part of The Leading Hotels of the World, a label that distinguishes the hotel among the 450 best hotels and resorts in the world.

The Bristol Hotel Panama was honored by Travel & Leisure Magazine as one of the 500 best hotels in the world in 2008, one of the top 25 hotels in Central and South America in 2009 and among the top 10 hotels in Central America and South America this year.

With the new investment, the Bristol Hotel Panama will have a total of 118 rooms and suites, parking spaces and layout of the entire ground floor of its existing hotel facilities, including, the unification of the hotel entrance, remodeling the restaurant, bar, ballroom and lobby, among other adjustments, said Duque.

For its part, Fabrega said that with this proposal, Buenaventura Resort Development contributes to the positioning of Panama as one of the most attractive tourist destinations for leisure and business, which encourages dynamically, the development of the tourism and hotel industry, which provides important foreign income to Panama.
