Morning Options:

Wildlife Expedition

This tour is a must do for all of those nature lovers. Exclusive wildlife exploration to private, remote estates and wildlife sanctuaries. Half a day or full day of hiking through off beaten paths, where few others have dared to explore. You can let us know your level of hiking since we can can custom design your trip to make it as exiting and challenging as you wished.

Our Panamanian guides will take you to the best locations to see the Resplendent Quetzal, Howler Monkey, Agouti, White Nosed Coati, and Pygmy Squirrel. Less common, but sometimes seen; Puma, Three-Wattled Bellbird, Jaguarundi, Kinkajou, and Mexican Porcupine. Bird and animal watching can vary according to the season.

Our guides will come and pick you up at your hotel in our 4×4 Land Cruisers.

Cloud Forest Safari • 4 x 4 Driving Tour in the Mountains of Boquete

Come experience the amazing bio-diversity of the primary forest of Boquete. Cruise around the lush Boquete Mountains and explore the different locations Boquete has to offer, such as: My Garden, is Your Garden; El Explorador; a coffee farm; cascading waterfalls; the Volcan Baru National Park, “The Quetzal Trail”, and sheer volcanic cliffs. Ask us or your tour guide for more information on each of the stops and let us know which one interest you to customize your trip.

Boquete is the “bread basket” of Panama and is known for producing one of the best coffee in the world, its flowers, and strawberries. On this adventure you can also go to the Paradise Garden Wildlife Rescue Sanctuary, where you will see Margay, Kinkajou, Monkeys, exotic birds and butterflies. Paradise Garden* is a non-profit rescue center supported by donations and sponsorships. For more information on Paradise Garden visit their website.

Note: some stops might not always be available, due to weather or road conditions; or park closures.

*Paradise Garden has a mandatory $5.00 entrance fee, that is not included in the tour price. Visit to the Rescue is optional. Please tell your guide if you would like to stop there.

COFFEE Tour: visit a high elevation mountain coffee estate for a 1 hour tour, including tasting, and the opportunity to buy some of the best coffee in the world, right at the Farm.

Caldera Hot Springs

The Volcán Barú in the Chiriqui Province of Panama is the tallest mountain in Panama with its 3,474 metres (11,398 ft) of high. The last major eruption of the volcano was about 500 AD and there are reports, and some evidence, of a minor eruption around 1550 AD. This volcano is now dormant, but this area produces natural bubbling springs, caused by the emergence of geo-thermally-heated groundwater from the earth’s crust. The springs have 3 different temperatures.

You are given enough time to lounge in the springs, lavish your body with volcanic mud, take a little sun or if it is raining the combination of the rain and the hot water feels amazing. Finish this by rinsing off in the cool waters of the Chiriqui River. Wildlife commonly spotted in this place includes toucans, boas, iguanas and Jesus Christ Lizards (named as they can run across water).

Caldera Hot Springs and Horseback Riding.

Travel through ancient Indian trails on a horseback through the lush mountainside. Horses are gentile and know how to guide you throughout the way, giving you time to enjoy the sun, the cool breeze, and maybe notice a Toucan flying over your head. After a 90 minute ride, we will come back to enjoy the Caldera Hot Springs and the Chiriqui River.

Please wear appropriate riding clothes: pants and sneakers.
